The APC Back-UPS Pro BR1600SI is a 1600VA / 960W line-interactive tower UPS with pure sine wave output, which suits computers with active-PFC power supplies. It has eight IEC C13 outlets, six with battery backup and two surge-only, so standard Australian plugs need IEC leads. AVR corrects mains voltage fluctuations without switching to battery, and a multifunction LCD shows load and battery status. Front USB-A and USB-C ports charge phones and tablets, a USB data port supports monitoring, and the battery is user-replaceable. It suits small offices, workstations and comms cupboards.
